Golden West Celebrates Classified Staff

In lieu of Golden West College's annual fall staff BBQ, a special Welcome Back Parade was organized this week to honor classified professionals. Staff members were invited to drive through a campus parade route while GWC managers, deans, and executive team cheered them on. Swag bags with GWC shirts, lunch vouchers and sweet treats were handed out to participants.

Prizes were given to the two winners of the "Where Would You Rather Be?" car decorating contest. Lori Donohue (Student Health Center) would rather be in Thailand visiting her daughter or Pittsburgh for her son's wedding and April Millikan (DSPS) would rather be at Disneyland for the Halloween Extravaganza. A big thanks to the volunteers who helped make this a fun and successful event.
