Employment Verifications

The Coast Community College District provides employment verification services to assist current and former employees in verifying their employment details for various purposes such as loan applications, housing rentals, or background checks.

How to Request Employment Verification:

1. Submit Your Request:
Employment verification requests can be submitted via email or mail to the District Office, located at 1370 Adams Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
  • Employment Verifications with Salary – Payroll OfficeAll employment verifications that require salary information should be directed to the District Payroll Office at payroll2@cccd.edu.
  • Employment Verifications without Salary – Human Resources DepartmentAll employment verifications that DO NOT require salary information should be directed to Employment Services and Records at employmentservices@cccd.edu.
2. What to Include:
Employee's full name (as used during employment).
  • Employee's job title and dates of employment (if known).
  • Specific information required (e.g., salary details, employment status).
  • Authorization from the employee (a signed release form if required).

3. Third-Party Verification Services:
For third-party verifiers, ensure you provide a signed release form from the employee for verification purposes. Requests without proper authorization will not be processed.

4. Processing Time:
Requests are typically processed within 7 business days. However, processing times may vary based on the complexity of the request.
