Ally Training and Education

The Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Compliance (OEIC) is proud to support ally trainings and seminars throughout the District and to highlight a variety of educational opportunities relating to equity, inclusion, compliance, and Title IX. If you want to learn more about creating functional, safe spaces for your students, cohorts, colleagues, and/or employees, these trainings are a wonderful place to begin!

• All of the trainings and webinars listed on this page are free of charge. Most require RSVP and/or registration.
• A good rule of thumb for the ally trainings and seminars is to update your training every three years.
• Please check this page - and the OEIC Events page - for updated offerings.

Upcoming Ally Trainings and Seminars

The Colleges are always expanding their ally training and seminar offerings. Each site has trained Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training, SafeZone, and UndocuAlly trainers on staff. At this time, the Colleges regularly host these events:

• SafeZone Training (LGBTQ+)
• SAIL (Supporting Actively Inclusive Leaders) Training (LGBTQ+ Advanced)
• UndocuAlly Training (Undocumented Students)
• Vet Net Ally Program (Veterans)
